One of the largest retail complexes in the nation unveils a new way to explore New Jersey from impressive heights: the American Dream Ferris Wheel. The American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey is a hub for tourism and enthralling entertainment. Following nearly two decades of careful planning, American Dream Mall and Skyviews of America launched the highest observation wheel on the east coast.

The three-million-square-foot American Dream Mall is home to luxury retail, DreamWorks Water Park, Nickelodeon Universe, New Jersey SEA LIFE Aquarium, Big Snow, and more. The fine dining and fast eats selection make the mall that much more appealing for nearby residents and tourists alike, and the American Dream Ferris Wheel is the cherry on top. 

American Dream Developer Paul Ghermezian expresses his motivation for the vision of this overwhelming attraction, explaining how the prime real estate of the American Dream Mall in close proximity to the financial capital of the nation with city skyline views made the attraction seemingly appealing.

American Dream is known for its over-the-top attractions, so this grand, 300-foot observation wheel with floor-to-ceiling glass windows is within the realm of extraordinary projects they can execute. The 27 enclosed, temperature-controlled gondolas with stunning views of the city skyline, guide guests on a leisurely rotation enhanced by panoramic views of New York City, the Meadowlands, and the Hudson River. The ride lasts nearly 30 minutes as it constantly rotates without ever coming to a complete stop. While there was never a reason before to look over the other side of the river, now the American Dream Ferris Wheel will have people wondering and admiring “what is happening over there?”

This newest attraction costs $29.75 for adults and $18.76 for children ages three to nine, not including tax. They also offer a special pricing of $24.38 plus tax for seniors 65 and older, active military, and Hudson county residents. The American Dream Ferris Wheel also presents two VIP gondolas for up to six guests at a rate of $55.33 plus tax per passenger. The VIP experience features luxury seating in leather Ferrari-style bucket seats. It also includes a LED light show and a glass-bottom floor that heightens this ultimate experience. This is a unique destination for guests to host special events from birthdays, to anniversaries, and intimate proposals. 

 This immersive attraction offers a different experience depending on the time of day. Whether you want to ride the Dream Wheel during the day to appreciate the intricate detail of the surrounding scenery or take a ride as the sun sets over the city, you are always in for a unique treat. To accentuate the feel of a traditional carnival, the American Dream Ferris Wheel offers a carnival-themed concession stand named “Deep Fried Love,” where guests can indulge in the classic fair foods like deep-fried Oreos, funnel cake, and deep-fried Twinkies. Delicious treats paired with a riveting ride 300 feet in the air is a rare experience worth making a trip for.
