The 10th anniversary of the New Jersey Wine & Food Festival will be taking place from May 4-6 at Crystal Springs Resort. The festival—one of largest independent wine and food festivals in the United States—will also be partnering with ment’or to celebrate this amazing milestone.
New Jersey’s premier culinary destination, Crystal Springs, known for their local agriculture and world-class dining, will bring together renowned chefs in a unique setting at the New Jersey Wine & Food Festival.
The festival will also include endless events to attend with this years guests of honor including Thomas Keller and Daniel Boulud, along with renowned chefs Michael White, Gavin Kaysen, Top Chef’s Bryan Voltaggio and many more.
Highlights of the three-day festival include a wine cellar dinner with Chef Thomas Keller himself. Along with Marc Perrin of Château de Beaucastel, the two will join forces for an extraordinary night of cuisine and fine wine. Chef Keller and his team will prepare a multi-course dinner with Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame and wines from Chateau de Beaucastel including some amazing back vintages. Dessert will be made by renowned Pastry Chef Michelle Karr-Ueoka.
At the 10th Anniversary Dinner, guests can join members of ment’or and their fans for a mouthwatering five-course dinner. Meet Top Chef fave Bryan Voltaggio, Daniel alum and James Beard nominee Gavin Kaysen, ment’or chefs Robert Sulatycky and Justin Cogley, and Martyna Krowicka of Crystal Springs’ culinary jewel, the four-star Restaurant Latour. Each chef will present one course to be paired with boutique wines from around the world.
Spend the night with the acclaimed Chef Michael White and one of New Jersey’s foremost culinary talents, Chef Anthony Bucco, at the Chef’s Garden Dinner for the opening night of the resort’s beautiful Chef’s Garden restaurant set outdoors amidst a one-acre working organic garden.
Finally, don’t miss the festivals signature event, The Grand Tasting. The Grand Tasting will feature 50 restaurants from throughout New York City and New Jersey along with 50 winemakers from around the world. The two-floor VIP lounge will showcase America’s best, including Daniel, Per Se, Restaurant Latour and many more, along with premium wines, champagnes and spirits.
With the festivals growth and success over the last 10 years came room for expansion of this prestigious wine and food event. New to the festival this year will be a variety of tents hosting seminars and demos.
Here’s a sneak peak at some of the seminars and demos scheduled for Saturday May 5:
10 am: Doughnuts from Montclair Bread Co. paired with coffee from NJ’s own Coffee Afficionado
11 am: Spring Foraging with local forager Heather Housemaker
12 pm – 3 pm: Marketplace Lunch with local New Jersey wines and products served
12 pm: Pasture to Table with Fossil Farms and Trinchero wines
