Recently, on July 18th, New Jersey-based Luxury car enthusiasts took part in the Benzel-Busch Motor Car Rally Race at the “Road racing Center of the East,” Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. For the past 55 years, Lime Rock Park has served as a standard 1.53-mile course, complete with seven turns, located in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains of northwest Connecticut. This same track has previously hosted the American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix and the Grand-Am Rolex GT Series. The world-class driving event featured the cutting edge technology of Mercedes Benz AMG vehicles.

Following a police escort from Englewood, New Jersey to the northwestern Connecticut location, those in attendance at the Benzel-Busch Road Rally had the chance to meet several niche car experts and watch an exclusive AMG lineup—featuring a GTR and the 2020 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. The vehicles that were showcased have been handcrafted in order to exceed Benzel-Busch client specifications. The estimated MSRP of these one-of-a-kind cars run between $50,000 and $200,000.
