Fashion Mansion Event Presented by VUE Magazine

Franklin Lakes, NJ – VIP guests enjoyed a night of sociability and fashion at the luxurious hilltop sanctuary at 21 Shinnecock Trail for VUE Magazine’s Fashion Mansion event. Located in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, and sitting on 3.5 acres, the five-bedroom sanctuary boasts Mediterranean-style courtyards and large, yet intimate interior spaces designed for grand events. Headlined by an exclusive look at trending fashion by Neiman Marcus, attendees enjoyed a night of fine dining and drinks in the upscale, refined, indoor/outdoor manor. The event offered the first peek at VUE’s Summer 2018 issue which highlighted trending swimwear, wines and local yachting destinations. Even before entering the home, visitors checked out high-end automobiles from Aston Martin, McLaren and Rolls Royce. Inside, guests indulged in cognac, cocktails and wines provided by Camus as well as locally hand-rolled cigars from Jimenez Tobacco while they explored the multimillion-dollar mansion. Larkspur Botanicals also added to the party’s décor with fine verdure and flora.

As part of the Fashion Mansion experience, patrons meandered through the home while models showcased up-and-coming fashion trends. With views of the surrounding area, guests walked the grounds, taking in the exclusive vistas while mingling with designers, publishers and models alike. Originally designed by architect John Stonehill, the home incorporates elements of water and sky to create its harmonious spaces and sun-filled rooms that allow the residence to cater luxury events like VUE’s Fashion Mansion. Hors d’oeuvres and a decadent, self-serve buffet lined the home’s loggias as guests mingled with each other and visitors wandered the home’s more unique locales—taking in the home spa with its 40-foot indoor pool, indoor waterfall and personal sauna. The home’s library and its 8,000 volumes offered relaxation, billiards and a wet bar for people to put up their feet, relax and socialize. Meanwhile, the sun terrace located outside of the 1,250-foot master bedroom allowed partygoers to take in breathtaking panoramas. Even as the night came to a close, guests could take part in a final glass of wine or cigar outdoors thanks to the property’s Mediterranean design that harkens to a European piazza on a summer holiday.
