VUE Magazine and Participating Sponsors Raise Nearly $4,000 for The Gloria Foundation at Exclusive Invite-Only Event at the W Hoboken.
Hoboken, NJ – VUE Magazine in conjunction with Interior Motif and many other participating sponsors were joined by friends and associates last week to celebrate the release of their 2016 Fall Issue at LuLu’s inside the W Hoboken.
The event, which aimed to recreate the timeless classic “Alice in Wonderland,” also helped bring awareness to Domestic Violence Awareness Month by supporting The Gloria Foundation, an organization that lends emotional and legal support to victims of domestic abuse. With raffle prizes ranging from gift certificates to a weekend with a Maserati, partygoers attending A Night in Wonderland collectively raised just under $4,000 in honor of The Gloria Foundation.
“Each year, police report tens of thousands of domestic offenses in the state of New Jersey alone,” said Jason Underberg, Publisher and Founder of VUE. “Now is as an important time as any to support courageous organizations like The Gloria Foundation and to stand together against domestic violence.”
The event took place on the evening of Wednesday October 19th, where attendees celebrated the launch of VUE’s new issue amidst aerial acrobatics, characters from “Wonderland,” food by sponsors like LDV Hospitality and wine and spirits by BreakThru Beverage and Camus. At the conclusion of the evening, guests raised a glass to The Gloria Foundation, emphasizing the importance of community and business coming together to support a great cause.
