Meet The Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring

The 2021 Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring introduces new technologies for an advanced, smooth performance. This remarkable three-row crossover mixes together power and luxury for a unique and efficient ride, no matter how long that ride may be. The Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring combines a gas engine with electric technology to give drivers that extra push when needed. The unique design, advanced features and luxurious additions to the Aviator make the Grand Touring one of Lincoln’s superior models.

Design

This seven-passenger crossover has a sleek silhouette by toning back on the typical “boxiness” of Lincoln vehicles. The vehicle features three eye catching grills, nostalgic Lincoln symbols and aspects, along with 21” wheels. The inside of the vehicle has a sanctuary-like aura with outdoor noise cancellation, a Revel Ultima 3D sound system, ambient lighting, a 10-inch touchscreen and a leather wrapped steering wheel equipped with audio and cruise control. For extra comfort, the front seats feature a 30-way adjustable seat, heat and massage chairs.

The Grand Touring offers the perfect combination of safety, comfort and style. In rough terrains, the drive remains smooth and when you are exiting the vehicle or are unloading something, the car lowers to the ground for the passengers’ convenience. The inside of the car is completely customizable and includes a PowerFold third row that can be folded at the touch of a button. To eliminate harsh warning noises, the Grand Touring has symphonic chimes recorded by The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, keeping drivers relaxed throughout their journeys.

Performance

Combining a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 gas engine with Lincoln’s new electric powertrain, luxurious thrills are taken to a new level. This merge between gas and electric creates 494 horsepower, 630 lb.-fit of torque and allows drivers to switch automatically from gas to electric, extending the driving range and saving drivers trips to the gas station. The model can be charged at home or at charging stations, and accommodates both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive preferences.

The Grand Touring has multiple driving modes so drivers have the option to choose their own adventure based on their mood. By turning a knob, drivers are able to alter suspension settings, steering, shift points and ride heights. The Grand Touring model features a quiet drive mode, Pure EV, an energy saving mode, Preserve EV and 6 other specified driving modes. When driving through snow, rain or other rough conditions, the modes can be quickly adjusted to enhance the driving performance of the vehicle.

Technology

Dedicated to delivering the safest driving experience possible, the Aviator Grand Touring offers multiple unique and safety-oriented technologies. Adaptive Cruise Control removes driving stress by fusing a camera and a radar, allowing the vehicle to detect when other cars are ahead of you, and prep the suspension for the terrain ahead. The front facing camera featured on the vehicle also informs drivers of the speed limits ahead. Stop-and-Go technology automatically adjusts the speed of the vehicle based on the flow of traffic.

The Head-Up display promotes safety by projecting standard driving information on the windshield to avoid the driver looking down. The Aviator is equipped with 28 speakers to totally immerse drivers in their music experience. The vehicle includes a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, 6 USB ports and a wireless charging center, keeping your devices charged and passengers entertained on long trips.

The powerful performance, advanced additions and safety technologies make the Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring stand out. The vehicle’s features, combined with its edgy and sleek design, create a lavishly dynamic expedition, every drive. After having the opportunity of driving the Grand Touring this past weekend, it is clear how unique the car is with an effortlessly smooth and quiet drive. The luxury was definitely felt in the passenger and driver’s seat massage chairs.
