Autumn across New Jersey means enjoying some of the best weather and seasonal activities the state has to offer, including the start of football season. Whether a fan of the local New York Football Giants, the New York Jets, or any team in the NFL, fans in the U.S. are arguably some of the most passionate, especially across the Tri-State Area. No matter who you may root for, game day is all about the experience, and there isn’t a more elevated viewing experience than inside the suites at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, home of both the Jets and Giants.


MetLife Stadium features 82,500 seats, and as one of the largest in the NFL, it sets the standard for venue excellence with state-of-the-art technology, comfort and over-the-top amenities. The only active venue to serve as the home stadium for two NFL teams, MetLife hosts 20 NFL games per season, more than any other stadium in the country. MetLife offers 200+ suites on four separate levels and each suit seats anywhere from 16 to 24 people inside. MetLife Clubs, including the Coaches Club, Chase Club, Toyota Club, Commissioners Club, and MetLife 50 Club, feature over 10,000 seats, and both clubs and suites all sit along the sidelines of the field. All suites were designed by the David Rockwell Group and built by 360 Architects, Ewing Cole, David Rockwell and Bruce Mau Designs. As for in-suite dining, MetLife partners with Delaware North Companies (also referred to as Sportservice). Suites are available to purchase for a 12-month partnership, or can be rented out for football games, international soccer games and concerts, with different pricing options for each.

metlife-3Both the Giants and Jets franchises have different amenities and perks for their suite holders and renters, who are some of their most important clients. For the New York Giants, suite holders have pre- and post-game field access opportunities and in-game alumni visits. During the games, dedicated concierge services are offered, where well-trained staff members provide a wide array of services to suite holders and their guests to ensure their comfort and relaxation during game time. During halftime, guests have an exclusive 30 percent off at the team store, and year-round suite holders have dedicated customer service reps to assist with all their questions and needs, and are given access to stadium spaces to hold special events, as well as get exclusive invites to other suite holder events.

On the other side of the coin, the New York Jets suite holders and partners have the ability to reserve pre-game field passes to experience warm-ups from the sidelines. In addition, they’re given the opportunity to be part of the pre-game ceremony, which includes player introductions and on-field access during the National Anthem and coin toss. An interactive photo booth is available for all suite guests to enjoy on the suite landings, and virtual reality headsets are available to be brought to suites for guests to experience a new vision of the game. Throughout the suites, the Jets’ staff enhance special occasions with décor, custom messaging, gifting and more. Guests can also download the NY Jets App and receive custom messages throughout the games. The suite partnership doesn’t only exist for game day experiences. The 12-month relationship includes year-round interaction with events, access to players and football leadership, other sporting events, concerts and more.


Rob Sullivan, the Sr. Vice President of Consumer & Premium Sales & Service for the New York Jets explained that over the years, there has been a major shift in professional sports when it comes to suites, and it’s the franchise’s job to understand that. “What purchasing [or renting] a suite used to be about was buying a box with seats, climate controls, indoor/outdoor access, a kitchen.
