Each Pavilion has its own outdoor sala for lounging and outdoor dining, while some Villas offer private pools.  A resort of this caliber would not be complete without an abundance of dining options and here the food choices are endless. Traditional Thai food is featured on most menus, but Mediterranean, Japanese, and even Italian cuisine ensure variety to meet any taste and appetite. The spaces are intimate, with the largest of the restaurants maintaining a maximum capacity of just 80. Fresh ingredients, bounties from the sea, and coconut straight from the trees assure meals that burst with flavor. The venues include poolside and oceanfront areas, a thatched hut Beach Bar for smoothies and fresh juices, and the tucked away Magnum Room where a cocktail and snack can be enjoyed with a fine cigar

 Luxury rooms and fine dining aside, Amanpuri leaves little reason to leave its beautiful grounds with a full array of activities and amenities on the resort property. Holistic Wellness Centre

If getting away from it all means not just escaping to a secluded destination but also clearing all the worries from home, the Amanpuri Holistic Wellness Centre and Aman Wellness Immersions will clear the clutter, remove the toxins, and help you find peace and tranquility. 

 The Wellness Centre offers an extensive menu of therapies offered in each of its 12 treatment rooms. Classic Thai massage using aromatic herbal compresses or focusing on pressure point stimulation will bring rest to weary muscles, while body exfoliation and facials with Thai spices leave your skin glowing. A sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi, plunge pool, and salon round out the features of the Centre that can all be enjoyed with healthy drinks and juices that are available to sip while you steam or soak. 

Truly unique to Amanpuri are the Wellness Immersions  that begin with a comprehensive medical consultation and analysis to aid in forming a personalized program of on-site and future medical treatments, nutrition plans, private movement sessions, and specialized therapies and spa treatments. Your evaluation and treatment plan is coordinated by the Wellness Centre’s team of doctors, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.

Offsite Adventure

Amanpuri does its best to restore and rejuvenate its guests with all it offers onsite, but there is more to be found outside the boundaries of the resort. There are five international-standard golf courses, charter boats for fishing, sailing, or diving adventures, and a beach that is lined with a full array of watersport possibilities from jet skis to kayaks, hobie cats to wakeboarding boats. 

 With waters so inviting, its no surprise that scuba diving in this area is extraordinary. You can swim with brilliant sea anemones, schools of eels, or even leopard sharks, who despite their name, are simply curious and not dangerous. A dive at Koh Dok Mai will have you exploring caves and crevices that are home to an endless variety of marine life that swim around you as a colorful rainbow. 

 If the kids are in tow, visit the Eco-Beach Discovery Centre for daily children’s activities that highlight nature and local customs. For some family-fun head to Hot Spot that has a rope-free bouldering wall and a skateboarding half-pipe to burn off energy, and a GoPro editing counter and screening room to ensure your moves are captured in the best way possible.
