There’s Nothing Like Mattaccino

Sitting on just over 23 acres, Mattaccino is a residential property that has just come on the market in Wall Township, New Jersey. Located five minutes from the Garden State Parkway and an hour from NYC, the position of the secluded oasis will leave the new owner near all the happenings of the surrounding area. The central location is well within range of the state’s long line of beaches, numerous golf courses, nightlife, and all the play that New Jersey offers. But remarkably, if you choose to accept the $12,999,000 asking price, when the impetus arises to just stay home, the fun doesn’t have to end.

“You can do everything here without ever leaving your own property,” said Salvatore Ventre of eXp Realty.

His boast can easily be backed up as the property features 600 feet of Brazilian Cumaru fencing that ensures privacy, a four hole golf course, an equestrian stable for 14 horses, an indoor and outdoor pool, a night club, a movie theater and much more.

A gated stone entryway provides the welcome, and leads to a quarter mile tree lined driveway to the estate. “It’s massive. You have the golf course on the left, the riding center on the right, and then in the back, there’s the tennis court, volleyball court , the pool, pool house, barn and more,” said Ventre.

As you enter through the foyer, your attention is grabbed by a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. “As soon as you walk in the door, you see it in front of you, and that’s the centerpiece of a massive vaulted living room,” Ventre said.

The living room is two thousand square feet, to be exact, and a fire does not have to be burning to illuminate the space that can seat dozens. The 26 foot focal point captures the natural light from above and generously disperses the luminosity.

The same visual uplift comes from the rooms rear wall that is a stretching expanse of glass that lets the wildlife and landscape flow into the room. “It’s incredible. You have an entire view of the backyard and all the grounds,” Ventre said.

Not to be outdone, the dining room hits a homerun with its brilliant chandelier that gives a sense of grandeur to the space while retaining a cozy atmosphere for dining with 16 of your friends.

The estate offer plenty of opportunity to let loose with six bars and a travertine cocktail lounge that includes a hand-tufted upholstered wall, a polished marble bar, and a genteel billiard annex. “The billiard room and bar is an incredible space to entertain when you’re having a party,” said Ventre.

There’s no reason to stop there. Down the main staircase, with 50-100 of your guests, exclusivity isn’t just for those standing in line at Studio 54. “It’s fully built out as a real nightclub,” said Ventre, and a series of sleek modern bars, a wine cellar and dance floor lets your elite group shake, rattle and roll the night away.

On the other hand, Mattaccino has your back whenever a pensive mood strikes. Its fine art gallery is a refined space for conversation, contemplation, and reflection, with a layout that is inspired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The complex also houses a 15-seat multi-tiered movie theatre with digital screen to bring movie night in, complete with a popcorn maker and video game arcade.

Top billing is reserved for the master of the house, and he or she can always reign exclusive in the primary suite. Almost a home inside a home, said Ventre, “the space is like its own apartment.”

There’s a private sitting area, two spa-like suites, a sun lit soaking tub, dual showers, laundry room, guest quarters and a spiral staircase to a private office. The executive right to privacy doesn’t end there. The primary suite also has a secret door that short cuts to the kitchen and points elsewhere, so the commander in chief never has to leave a trace.

No need to get lonely, as there’s an adjoining den with separate sleeping quarters with a modern soaking tub, twin vanities, double showers, and another private water closet.

When its time to stretch your legs, the indoor racquetball court and professionally-equipped workout facility will definitely get the kinks out. With cardio optimized, cool down comes in style in the indoor pool and spa that are surrounded by Ipe wood cladding and stone masonry and feature backlit architectural beams and twenty skylights to create a climate controlled sun-drenched oasis.

If outdoor recreational pursuits are more to your liking, you can hit the greens on the expertly designed golf course, complete with sand traps and putting greens, or if you choose to fill the stable with horses, the riding pasture provides plenty of room to gallup. The tennis, basketball and volleyball courts can also get your heart pumping.

For those warm days, the outdoor experience includes the Anyslbrite-Quartz pool that is lined with a dark surface sprinkled with crystals to catch the light. “When the sun hits, it’s almost like there are little specks of diamonds shining up,” Ventre said. The mesmerizing surface can be enjoyed for hours from the  15 stool swim up bar. The adjacent hot tub paves the way to the adjoining cottage. “It has a massive wet bar, a huge kitchen, one and a half bathrooms, bedroom with 2 queen beds, and a living room that is surrounded by windows,” Ventre said.

Despite its massive size and full slate of amenities, Mattaccino does its part to lighten the load on the environment, equipped with a 156-panel, ground-based solar array that powers the entire compound and costs nearly nothing to run.

The views from this property are endless and only matched by the number of possibilities the estate offers.  “There’s absolutely no other property like this,” Ventre concluded.
